Time to cash in that extra hour! Don't forget to change the clocks if you live in an area that does so.

I see the server already has done it's hickup for Eastern, which has done odd things for me viewing it on Central with times.

Clocks have changed in the UK as well this morning, only over here the thing that has just ended is called 'British Summer Time' (BST).

I had forgotten about it, but fortunately my alarm clock changes automatically. I had a moment's confusion when my alarm went off I realised it was light, before I figured out what had happened. :D

Still can't figure out how to change the time on my wristwatch, though! :(

glass.

I think the time system is screwed up. Now we are on "normal" time, which means from here until march, it will get dark at 4:30 pm or so. When I sleep in on weekends, I almost miss the daylight completely...

Daylight savings should be normal, I think.

I had to remind Enworld that daylight savings time was happening today, which was odd, since it was working last night from a different PC. Oh well.

I vehemently disagree, and think the whole thing should be abolished. It's just a way for puritans to get the rest of us to get up and go to bed earlier.

Eh. I'd rather the sun not come up before 5 AM in DC in late June.

And the glorious feeling of the extra hour of sleep this morning was wonderful. Even if the hour being taken away in the spring is...unpleasant.

I find Daylight Savings Time annoying only when I lose an hour and only when I forget to change my clock. I woke up an hour earlier than I thought it was because I forgot to set my clock backwards. Although it would be worse in the spring. :heh:
