[QUOTE="LuisCarlos17f, post: 7917457, member: 6802378"] My opinion is they are seen a potential reef in the game-live podcasts and they want to publish their own version of Critical Role. It isn't a bad idea but this is like talking about producing a new Batman movie. It may be a "Batman: Dark Night" or a "Batman & Robin". It may work if it's done the right way. About adapting known comics franchises for TTRPGs is a challenge for game designers because the level of power is broken from the first moment. If my memory doesn't fail the most, or all most superheroes TTRPGs are without leveling up. (the videogame Champions Online is a different case). I bet WotC would like a superheroes RPG but with the d20 system isn't that easy. Then I have thought about to use two pillars of leveling up for the players. One would be for the classic level of power, (and easy to be nerfed temporally if it is necessary) and the secon would be the level of knownledge, all studied and tricks learnt. An example of character with high level of power but poor level of knownledge would be Jon Kent (Superman and Loius Lane's son) or Shazam in the begining ( a true rookie) and a character with weak power but high knownledge would be Sherlock Holmes, Steve Urkel, Lisa Simpsons or Amadeus Cho (Hulk's sidesick) or Oracle (Barbara Gordon).
