That is, as the DM I would not go out of my way to incorporate this, but instead just run a normal game and wait until you the player declares the connection. Several scenarios after rolling a #12 on this table, one player suddenly declares: "Since Bob the Wizard asks us to visit the Elder Kuth desolation, I have found my destiny!"
