My friend has been buying random boosters for years now and he says he won't be getting any more of the new sets because the variation is not as great as it used to be. Thanks for replying, Peter. However, I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I wasn't saying that we could once get a full set from one case but rather that we could get most of a set from one, which, according to some people, is no longer true. I cannot afford to buy minis by the case, so I'm just going by what I've picked up around the forums. If it's wrong, so be it. But at the very least, people aside from myself, including my longtime mini collector friend, feel like the distribution has changed. That's useful to know. I'll second that. I'd also like to see some of the new-look genasi get some minis. I'm guessing we'll probably be getting some anyway, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. More duergar! There are only three duergar minis in the whole line, and one of them is large (unless you count the recent dwarf warlord mini -- it's got grey skin and a white beard, so I wonder if it's really a duergar in disguise and a very bad disguise at that ...). Also - I'd love it if you guys would do more minis of the BBEGs in the adventures you put out. 3.5's Red Hand of Doom was chock full of bad guys that would've made for awesome minis (Ghostlord, anyone?). I was very pleased to find that the Deathpriest of Orcus matches Kalarel from H1. Any chance we'll get more like that? How about a winged demonic gnoll to go with the BBEG in H2? Finally - can we go back to having drow who wear something other than black? The older drow figs had nice paint jobs with actual silvery armor or colored clothing. The more recent drow have all just been clad in black, often with the only painted parts being their hair, eyes, and weapons. Sorry. That got a lot longer than I intended it to be.
