I hate how the same races show up in every set also. But I realized something. They have to make at least 60 different minis each set, and they want to be making sets for years I'm sure. but there just isn't that many monsters they can use to keep each set fresh, so they rehash stuff. The only thing I can think to make it work better is if they started doing different versions of monster minis in various sets. We have 1 sculpt of a Formian warrior, but I would like to see a new sculpt later on because my group of Formians all look like twins. Or a different pose for an Umber Hulk...stuff like that. I'm sure they will be doing this but I wish they did it sooner. I don't need more drow...I have a crapload of different drow sculpts. The one that gets me is the Half-Orc. I don't know about skirmish, but how often do I need a different Half-Orc mini in my D&D game? There's twice as many Half-Orcs as there are Half-Elves. In my experience, Half-Elves are used way more than Half-Orcs. There's even a Half-Orc Monk, but no Dwarven, Elven, Halfling, Gnomish, Half-Elf, or Drow monks. Someone at WotC really likes Half-Orcs, "Can't forget to put 2 new Half-Orc minis in the next set!" :p
