DDXP, Thanks, and Sleep

So I've got a lot of emails and posts to dig through this week. I should be catching up on work but the positive buzz from the show is still keeping me upright and functional for now and digging around on the internet for people's thoughts is actually a lot of fun.

I just wanted to thank all of those who came up and said 'Hi' at the show as well as those that just came and had a great time the whole weekend. We were busier then we ever have been in DC before and things ran pretty smoothly all things considered. The 4th events were a hit and we ran thousands of people through the D&D Delve and LFR events. So thanks again for making the show what it was.

Now I'm going to get back to reading some posts, dispelling the misinformation as I always do, and eventually sleeping (until I start working on Origins and Gencon in a few weeks - it never ends).

Gencon is going to be huge this year gang so if you've not made you plans to come and play then stop reading this and go do it. We'll have more 4th edition events then you can even fit into the time frame of the show as well as I new bigger and even deadlier D&D Delve. So get your books in June and start practicing.

Thank YOU Dave for running a great show! And especially thanks for taking care of us press by holding onto tickets for us.

Of course, I still wish I had rolled higher on the d20 to win the Gargantuan White Dragon!

Yeah gencon may not be so much of a problem anymore, what with the bankruptcy, lawsuit, accusation of stealing money for charity, etc.

I don't thnk it will survive. (and it really shouldn't if they ate money meant for charity)

Glad we could help you out. If you're out at Gencon and need a game make sure to look me up.

Don't feel bad on the White Dragon. I had the last one tucked under my arm to take home (my daughter loves naming them and painted me one herself for Xmas - she's 4) and walked past one of my judges who had just went above and beyond hanging around to see if I needed some help and tossed it to him. You just can't reward those types enough.

If anyone has been curious about what a threadcrap looks like, this is a quintessential example.

Don't hijack the thread, please. There are several other threads discussing GenCon!

And welcome back, Wavester. Thanks for all the hard work.

Looking forward to GenCon this year. Haven't had the opportunity to go for several years because of work, and so I'm really excited. Plus my kids are old enough to go this time, so we get to introduce the little Gargoyles to D&D and all the fun of GenCon.

Grats on D&D XP, sounds like it was a success.

Glad you had a great show. I am really looking forward to LFR. I just wish I could afford to make the trip to so GenCon, but I'll make do with home games.

Ditto here. Me and two halflings are already salivating about this summer's trip to Indy!
