Message: <blockquote data-quote="MechaPilot" data-source="post: 6676485" data-attributes="member: 82779">I think you're right that Deadpool will do quite well.  Whether it's #1 or not depends on what it's up against, so I can't really speak to that.As for Dc not inspiring confidence, I don't know.  The more recent spate of DC movies have been good in my opinion (though your opinion, naturally, may vary).The first two installments of Nolan's Batman trilogy were good.  The third had issues but was fun to watch if I didn't really think about it too much.I also like Man of Steel.  I don't like how Lois falls away from the black hole, but hey, it's Hollywood, and they're not too bright.The animated Suicide Squad film Assault on Arkham is also pretty good, though it sort of starts to fall apart in the third act.  Why Deadshot, Killer Frost, and Capt. Boomerang couldn't just share the helicopter until they got clear of joker's dirty bomb is beyond me.  Also, I hate how Bane, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow are so easily taken down during the riot scene.  I mean Poison Ivy, perched atop a giant blossoming plant, with a throng of enslaved/seduced crazies is thwarted by just a couple teargas grenades.  I hope Pamela gets more love in the new live-action DCCU.  She's a really cool character, and it'd be nice to see her portrayed in a way that does justice to that.Plus, the animated film Flashpoint Paradox is pretty darn good too.  I love the alternate twist that universe puts on Batman.And then there's the animated film Justice League: War.  It really does a good job with all the JL characters therein.  It also has one of my favorite Wonder Woman scenes.[video=youtube;3s4nkPZsH_E]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3s4nkPZsH_E[/video]</blockquote>
