Tell them to stop. Oh, wait. Woops. If that doesn't work, don't play with them. They aren't gaming friends. I have friends that I game with. I have friends that I generally hang out with. I have friends that I drink with. There have been a few times where people have crossed from one category into another. But it's not always. I go to Karaoke at my dad's bar with my friend Jen, but there's no way that I would ever invite her to a game session. It's not for her. Actually, that's not fair. It might be. But she has never struck me as the sort of person to be that interested, so I never have. In contrast, I did play a bit with a number of other friends. They played for a while, but they wanted different from the game than I did, and they eventually stopped. We're all still good friends, but they're not my gaming friends. It sounds like your friends are taking advantage of your friendship. Tell them to stop. If they refuse, tell them that you want something different from the game and that they don't fit with the group. If they're good friends, they'll either change or understand. If they're douchebags, then they'll be douchebags. There's nothing else to do. You can't change the rules on them. They don't care about rules. The only other thing that you can do is appeal to them as friends. Good friends will be good friends. Crappy friends won't.
