[QUOTE="WD40, post: 2688979, member: 37922"] Many many years ago, in one game, a character in a game I was playing in was cursed with having a leprechaun-like critter that pernamantly sat on the characters shoulder, hurling insults at him and his friends. I loved that little guy! To that end, I've tried to create critters with similar effects. The Deamon of Dischord is one of them. Crap in combat, but devastating in regular day to day life. The Deamon of Dischord is great for bothering players, capable of creating both funnies, and seriousness. See what you think. Daemon Of Discord Tiny Fey, Incorporeal Hit Dice: 4D6 -8 (5hp) Initiative: +5 Speed: Fly 80ft (Perfect) Armour Class: 24 (+2 Size, +5 Dex, +7 Deflection) Base Attack/Grapple: +2/ - Attack: - Full Attack: - Space/Reach: 2ft/ - Special Attacks: Aura Of Unluck, Inconvenience, Mischief, Invisibility, Bolster Fear, Special Qualities Incorporeal Traits, Influenced Morphology, Flight, Low Light Vision, Evil Laughter Saves: Fort: 1, Ref: +9, Will: +6 Abilities: Str: - , Dex: 20, Con 7, Int 16, Wis 15, Cha 24, Skills: Bluff: +14, Escape Artist: +12 Hide: +20, Listen: +9, Use Magic Device: +14 Feats: Great Fortitude, Ability Focus: Inconvienience Environment: Any Organisation: Solitary Challenge Rating: 8 Treasure: None Alignment: Always Chaotic Evil Advancement: By Character Class. From somewhere near you seem, to hear high-pitched cackling laughter… The Daemon Of Discord is a mischievous impish creature whose should purpose in life is to cause misery and disharmony to people. Usually targeting a single individual and hovering around them using it’s many powers to make it’s targets life miserable. Combat: Deamons of Dischord usually focus on a single unfortunate. When in combat, the deamon will usually hold its actions untill it's target makes a move. It may then use one of it's abilitys to make that targets life a lot more difficult! Daemons of Discord dislike combat when it involves themselves. If they are spotted, and an attack aimed at them, they will use their powers to protect themselves as best they can, and flee. They rarely return to a target once their presence has been dectected. Aura Of Unluck (Su): 1/Day a Daemon of Discord can create a baleful aura of misfortune. Alternatively, the Daemon of Discord may use this ability to prevent the target from ‘Taking 10’ on a skill check, or to double the amount of time taken on a check that the target is ‘Taking 20’ on. Invisibility (Su): A Daemon of Discord may use ‘Greater Invisibility’ as the spell at will. Bolster Fear (Su): Whenever a ‘Fear’ effect is used in the presence of a Daemon of Discord, the daemon may increase it’s effect, causing a single target of the Daemons choosing to make a second save from a fear-like effect emanating from the Daemon itself, DC 19.
