I'm the last person in the world to ask of anything relating to horses.

The cat seems to be fine. According to the veterinarian anyway. And no, it wouldn't have ended up being shampooned (is that a word?) at all if the kid hadn't decided to wash it.

Yeah... shampooing a cat (especially a kitten) is a very risky venture. Lots of pointy bits.

Glad the kitten has been cleared.
