(This seems small, but I'd want to keep the changes small and just assume that Patryn who weren't heroic didn't make it out of the labyrinth in the first place, so you'd assume that any Patryn that escapes the labyrinth is a heroic character. By the same token, I'd assume that the Sartan, who are all fairly old and experienced at this point (because there are no new Sartan, due to the necromancy, right?), are all fairly high level as well.If I were doing d20 Modern, I'd add advanced classes or prestige classes that only the Patryn could access (the rune magic), and similar ones for the Sartan.</blockquote>
