[QUOTE="DertyAngel, post: 3041762, member: 43955"] All but the Gems card (which was made just for this) were existing pictures. I found out about this contest about 2 days before the deadline so i put together what i could with what i had. I think all the pictures follow the ideas of the deck very well if not literal description of the card, but the meaning behind the card. As Sialia said, i know i could do a better deck, but i'd have to have a lot more time to do it, That 1 new picture took about 4 or 5 hours. Besides, whats wrong with pre-existing art? It's a good way to showcase someones art to people who may have may have never had a change to see it otherwise. I think no one here has ever seen my art before except ElectricDragon, mainly because he's been seeing my art for about the last 20 years. If i see something with a new Remberant or Leonardo picture i've never seen before it hold as much interest or more than seeing a new hot off the canvas Royo or Boris. I think when you find a Deck and you pull out a card, you should go "Wow!" because it is a minor articaft and the level of skill required to make it (by gods) would make for some mind blowing pictures, so when you pull void and you see the picture, you may not know what it is, but you say, uh-oh this don't look good can we pretend i didn't draw this one and do it again. I think all the decks for the contest look great though, my compliments to everyone! The great thing about art is how one thing can be expressed so many ways. I'm glad there was a contest for this, we used to have tons of fun with these decks, had a 20th level Wizard get hit with the Void myself :) I really liked Sialia's Throne LOL, the one place you can always be King....untill your kid comes knocking on the door..."What ya doin?
