Since no one else has anything to say :) I'll shamelessly reply to my own post with a couple of thoughts that are zinging around in my head. 1) I'm really glad that I purchased this game, I've been looking for a system to run a campaign that I've had bouncing around in my head for some time now. And though I will take a look at SAS from GOO it will have to be really good to make decide to pick it up. 2) The game fast to pick up and easy to run. It seems like it would do most settings fairly well ie. gritty, modern , golden age. 3) In my search for the proper game system I have looked at godlike, Vigilance, Mayhem, paragon, and even hero (which as a side note looks like it does everything I want, but seems to run/play to slowly for me.). With each one of those I've said to myself well SAS is only a little while away! Now I'm thinking SAS had better be damn good. As another side note I have to say I don't have much curiosity about M&M at all. I know almost nothing about the product and they have done absolutely nothing to pique my curiosity at all. I would have thought that they would do some sort of preview so people could decide if they should wait for it. As it is I think it will have to be AMAZING to get anyone to buy it. By the time it comes out their will just be too many other choices on the market. 5) I think that the small publishers have made it really hard for people like GOO to do well. This is mainly because they beat them to market. Their products like DNW are really, really, good. So what if they aren't great? At $5 or $10 bucks they are unbeatable! SAS is $39.95. I think it will have a really tough time being 4 times as good as DNW.
