Bri informed me <em>after</em> he had altered your droid, not before. She quickly snatches it up, then runs outside of the chamber to speak to Nor. "<span style="color: Teal">Master Nor? Gimto said the lifts were offline. we're down here on deck twelve, and I don't see any way--</span>" Threesa pauses. "<span style="color: Teal">--wait. There seems to be a hole in the wall here. I guess the access tube is open. Should we climb up?</span>"</p><p></p><p>Atharias seems startled at Tersh's words. "<span style="color: White">Instructor Tersh, this is not--</span>" But before the venerable master can finish his sentence, an alarm suddenly bleats from Nor's console. Still sliced into the Academy's central computer, the screen shows an analysis of the turbine's current status. The engine efficiency has suddenly dropped from 68% to 63%--a drop of five percent in an instant.</p><p></p><p>"<span style="color: White">How?</span>" Atharias taps the screen. "<span style="color: White">Instructor Nor, am I losing my mind, or did the turbines just <em>react</em> to Tersh's outburst?</span>"</p><p></p><p>Threesa suddenly breaks into Nor's com. "<span style="color: Teal">Master Nor! I'm not sure we <em>can</em> climb up--this grey slime is all over the place and it just started going wild. Does anyone have any idea what this stuff is?</span>"</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Tersh cycles the hatch open as Verena watches nervously. The observation area turns out to be a small, semi-circular transparent room, looking out into the black depths of the ocean. The room is about twice the size of Atharias' chambers, and a secondary hatch, set right into the transparent wall, attaches to a tiny black three-seat submarine. A complicated control panel, full of loose wires and jury-rigged equipment, is loosely connected to the wall beside it.</p><p></p><p>"<span style="color: Cyan">Master? What's that?</span>" Verena points down, where something of tremendous size swirls around in the gloom. "<span style="color: Cyan">It's coming up!</span>"</p><p></p><p></p><p>"<span style="color: Lime">Yes, sir!</span>" Gimto rushes to the control panel in Atharias' chamber and begins furiously pecking away at the keys. "<span style="color: Lime">Uhhh....we have some issues.</span>" Gimto looks up at Tyren, his black eyes wide with fright. "<span style="color: Lime">The computer is reporting some sort of physical obstruction jamming the turbines. I can increase the power output, try and cut through it, but that power's got to come from somewhere. At the moment, our only option...is to draw from life support.</span>"</p><p></p><p></p><p>Zeth calls back from about ten meters below Sylara, coughing a bit. "<span style="color: PaleGreen">...yes, master...I to follow. But stay back some.</span>"</p><p></p><p>Sylara spots Tolark just above him, cutting through the hull into deck two and kicking the scorched chunk of metal away. Tolark clamors through the hole as Sylara slowly makes his way upward.</p><p></p><p>"<span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'">okay i'm right behind you but i think there's something weird going on</span>" Pa'ha slips the simulator disc into her pocket and quickly follows after Milus.</p><p></p><p>When Milius reaches the lift, however, he discovers that it seems to have ceased responing--the control panel indicates that it is offline.
