Default rule for subtype and template?

Some templates (like Zombie template) specify whether subtypes of the original creature is retained or not. But I cannot find generic rule for whether if subtypes are retained or lost when a template changes the type of the creature.

For example, should a half-dragon succubus retain subtypes and become "Dragon (Augmented Outsider, Chaotic, Extraplanar, Evil, Tanar'ri)? Or lose all the subtypes and just become "Dragon (Augmented Outsider)"?

What will happen if a Warforged Dragondisciple finally get the last level of the prestige class? Now his type is Dragon. He will have (Augmented Construct) subtype. But what will happen to his (Living Construct) subtype?

Some of the example is suggesting that subtypes are often lost even if the template does not specifically say so. Many examples of human with template in MM are losing (Human) subtype and just wrote as "something (Augmented Human). But examples are just examples and not rules.

Are there any section or book which specifically describe the generic rule for what should happen to the subtypes of the original creatures?
Thanks in advance.

Only what's said in the core rules, that I know of:

In theory, there’s no limit to the number of templates you can add to a creature. To add more than one template, just apply each template one at a time. Always apply inherited templates before applying acquired templates. Whenever you add multiple templates, pay attention to the creature’s type—you may add a template that makes the creature ineligible for other templates you might want to add.

It would seem that the creature retains all the subtypes it acquires or has, although I'd certain make a Rule 0 ruling on something that's just weird.

ISTR a "type pyramid" in Savage Species which lists a hierarchy of types, and you never get to leave your type for an equal or lower tier. Construct and Undead were the two top-tier types.

I like that way of thinking about it.

Thank you guys. So, a human vampire sorcerer who has Draconic Heritage feat (regardless of when he took that feat) is "Medium Undead (Augmented Humanoid, Dragonblood, Human)".

And

1. He is Vulnerable to Favored Enemy (Undead) or Undead Bane weapons as he is an Undead
2. He is Vulnerable to Favored Enemy (Dragon) or Dragon Bane weapons as he has dragonblood subtype.
3. He is NOT Vulnerable to Favored Enemy (Human)) or Human Bane weapons as those abilities affect only to something "Humanoid (Human)" and he is an undead.

Am I right about these?

I thought being immune to crits/sneak attacks made you immune to favored enemy damage?
