Here's an interesting question. Who thinks EN World should make the characters of P'Cat's Defenders of Daybreak Story Hour honorary Iconics! This would get the Defenders of Daybreak their own galley on Claudio's page (if he's willing).

Just a thought!

At best they should be called Iconic Storyhour Characters.

Otherwise it just doesn't feel right to me.

I can live with that. Ok then, Iconic Story Hour characters.

Don't get me wrong, the Defenders are great, but I just can't see talking about "Tao Camber, the iconic Ranger/ Cleric/ Divine Agent," or "Agar Smoketallow, the iconic Wizard/ Alienist/ Planeshifter." It seems rather contrary to the point of having iconic characters to begin with.

Much Respect, but Nay

The Defenders are on a level with Tasselhoff, Raistlin, Goldmoon and the like. I wouldn't consider them iconics.

Well Morrow, that's the whole point of the poll. Everyone has the right to their opinion and my intrigued mind had to know.

After all, the poll shows that not everyone on these board know who the Defenders are! Not that I'm trying to deflate P'Cat's ego.

Keep voting people!

True. But even the Iconics advance to Epic levels eventually. After all, that is what is implied by the updated Epic Iconics in the Epic Level Handbook.

I meant, "I voted no, this is why," not, "Bad poll! Go away!" Didn't mean to antagonize you.

Undecided. The Defenders aren't iconic in that they don't embody the core class or PrClass types, but they are certainly emblematic of the incredible possibilites that great roleplaying and great campaigns can provide.

On the other hand, I'd hate to slight the Liberators of Tenh or any of the other characters this newly addicted Story Hour maven has yet to discover....
