Monkey: I understand. Well then, RP away and do what tou will :) I'm sure you will enjoy playing with Holy Man, he is all about the roleplaying! As far as GP are concerned, the leaset you can do is buy some tomes +5, some Wish scrolls, a Staff of the Magi or some other staff (if you have Complete Mage or the MiC). I'm not sure if you have dabbled with Artificers, they are very good "creator" classes (or so i've heard) and need gold to sink in their lab equipment. You can also aim to get creaton skills and feats and later contruct things like this bad boy that also require a lot of money. Lich transformation is quite pricey as well (should you choose to go that route). Gandalf: Use the point buy in Invisible Castle to make sure you do it right. (that's what i do). Doing research on Cyric is what you will do once you go back to the Realms prior to the triggering of the Spellplague. With the current chaos ensuing over the lands, you won't be able to find anyone who knows anything, as even the Gods themselves don'k know what's happening and are more concerned with saving their own arses from the spellplague. So no, you can't know what he is immune to or some such but you can make your weapon the way you like, as i said fighter classes are so underpowered I don't mind a little metagaming. If you can RP something like this being a Godslaying tool found/granted under special conditions, it would be even better. Holy Man: Don't feel obligated to take things that are useful at low levels. Starting at lvl 20 has it's pluses and minuses. You can make a more efficient character, but you generally get less magical equipment and gold than a 1 to 20 progression char that has ben RPed all the way. The shield is this one, I know of it and it is a fitting item. However that's a Major Artifact and I can't let you start with it for severeal reasons. 1) It can't go trough the portal (otherwise Elminster & Co will just pump you guys full of artifacts to begin with). 2) The real GP value would exceed 1 million GP. 3) Everyone else will want an Artifact and i like to be fair. 4) There must be something i can reward you with later :) Shayuri: I like all your concepts, especially the Warforged. A custom item that can cast repair is doable. BTW Warlock does not meet the requirements for Incantatrix (see PGTF, page 61), it explicitly states that it needs "3rd-level Arcane spells".
