It will be dual-statted for CoCd20 and BRP. Keep in mind that this book has been written and awaiting print for awhile, and the primary markets are: * the many people who already bought the print run of CoC d20, and * those BRP fans who want the long-out-of-print DG, didn't buy it when it was still in print, but don't want to pay $80 on eBay for it. Players of non-CoC flavours of d20 are not a primary market for this book, except insofar as they're willing to adapt the CoCd20 writeups (which in most cases, isn't really hard anyways). Gamers looking for a self-contained new game are likewise not a primary market for this book. Keep in mind that it is and has always been a sourcebook for an existing game, not a new game in its own right; and the vast majority of the book is non-mechanical fluff, so system isn't really an issue. Of course, it's all irrelevant to me anyways -- I own both DG and DG:Countdown, as well as all of the DG fiction, and it's some of the greatest RPG writing ever. I don't know that I necessarily want to shell out more money just to get the paltry amount of conversion material that will be added, for a system I own and like but don't play*. Now, if the DG reprint sells enough copies that Arc Dream will finally publish the DG chapbooks (the only DG material I don't own) in compiled form, then I'll be a happy camper. So to those of you who don't already own DG but have an interest in the material, I say buy it! KoOS * If I were to play DG, I'd either run straight BRP or more likely, use Spycraft 2.0 and pinch the necessary bits from CoCd20 like magic, artifacts and psychic powers.
