There are stairs down behind us (where we came up), ahead of us, and, apparently, a secret door to the left. At least this time the game told us! However, we leave it be for a moment, and head down the steps ahead.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363951[/ATTACH]</p><p>[ATTACH=full]363952[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Yes we do.</p><p></p><p>We enter a room that seems a bit... weird. Someone just has weird taste...</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363955[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Well, so much for that hope. We need to kill her before she can use her gaze attack!</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363956[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Which we do, pretty easily.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363957[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>She unfortunately doesn't give much in the way of XP, or have much treasure. The giants have spoiled us concerning both of those recently.</p><p></p><p>We head back up the steps, and then through the secret door we found there.</p><p></p><p>We reach the second level proper, and take the corridor to the right.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363960[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Sure, why not?</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363961[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>It just leads back to the medusa room, so there's no need to jump, other than to take falling damage. If the medusa were still alive, the character opening the trapdoor would have had a chance to be petrified.</p><p></p><p>We leave this room and head back to the other corridor leading from the steps.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]363962[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>We've come all this way to be confronted with some of the most diabolical foes of all - bureaucracy and waiting rooms!
