Message: <blockquote data-quote="argo" data-source="post: 560871" data-attributes="member: 5752">About the original question: can Devils etc. starve to death?How about this; they can never actually die of such causes but they may be weakened by long periods without sustenance.  It will be up to you how badly weakened they are after however long you have had them locked up.  Perhaps the Celestial is so bad off it can barely walk and the PC's must protect it (rather than benefiting from its abilities) or maybe the demons have a little of the edge taken off of them as well as being in a blood lust (don't want to make it too easy on the group no do we <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" />  ).  At any rate it should be really cool for the party to find these powerful beings who look nothing like what they imagined but rather like famine refugees: decrepit, gaunt faces, skin drawn tight over their frames, open sores, long patchy hair and so forth.  Might even fool the PC's into thinking they are dealing with some sort of wierd undead instead of outsiders.  And it makes captivity something an outsider would fear rather than just an annoyance.Just my 2cp.</blockquote>
