As his soul began to depart his physical form he felt the same horror he did the last time as he is whisked at an unimaginable speed towards a place best described as hell. It was a personal hell, Agryk knew because in this place he was utterly powerless (Agryk’s greatest fear), a pawn a plaything totally at the mercy of almost everyone in the place. He had no status, no aristocracy, no fantastic strength, no forceful personality, just a soul at the mercy of some entity that he was sure meant to make his eternity in this place painful in the worst ways imaginable. As his head spins with disorientation he waits for what he is sure will be his judgment at the hands of this obviously powerful devil. He shifts his feet uncomfortably as the cold floor causes a burning pain in his feet. He is suddenly aware of many things at once that he was previously unaware. That his father is on his deathbed, that his brother’s soul is in some form of limbo but not on the outer planes. The devil, which is referred to by those in the court as “His Grand Lordship Timbrex” seems to take no immediate notice of Agryk as he is busy tormenting some form of minor devil. The thing seems to be in horrible agony and its screams for mercy fill the room in a deafening manor. His pleas go unanswered. Agryk wonders what horrible crime this poor wretch must have committed to be tortured so brutally, surprisingly he hears the answer in his head in a language he should not understand but somehow does – he failed our master, he tripped and spilled his Lordship’s “tea”. Agryk knows that “tea” is something horrible and fantastic at the same time, not the drink made from brewed leaves. It is a soul, Lord Timbrex consumes souls. After what seems an eternity Lord Timbrex having reduced his charge to a quivering pile of flesh, looks toward Agryk. In a flash the evil being is in his head, he can feel the absolute malice of a being so filled with hate that the mere exchange of mental images is horrifying to him. He sees, grand cities burning, millions of innocents dying at the hands of fiendish armies, babies, women, children screaming for relief from the all consuming fire – they are being burned alive. Then a word, a word so loud it causes pain – fear! The word echoes through Agryk’s head, and he does…he feels fear, uncontrollable fear…like nothing before. The fear for his immortal soul, in a flash he feels the nothingness and absolute isolation that would be the result of the consumption of his soul by one of these creatures. He can hear abstractly the many devils in the room arguing with each other over who will get to eat this soul – Agryk’s soul. They are pleading with their Lord to be the one, offering favors and other items for the privilege. Then stunned Agryk suddenly sees a light a tunnel and as he begins to spin again but before he reaches the fantastic speed at which he knows he will travel back to the material world Lord Timbrex intones – “one last time mortal, one last time will I let you return, the next time you’ll be my tea”. Then with a start he wakes up in a new body, something wild, he can feel the wild nature of the body into which he has been thrust. And so with a loud EEEEE…HAW, EEEEE AW, he begins again remembering only the total and abject horror and terror of his second visit to hell.

BTW he was reincarnated as the Anthropomorphic Donkey in SS.
I have a player that has made a deal with a devil ala AEG's Evil in exchange for the strength option and he has died (for the second time). There is no resurrection in my game but reincarnation works fine. Last time I simply told the player to come up with a description of his experience while away from the material world. I was going to use his description to determine some quirks or something about how the unsettling dreams he'd have from now on but he's well....unable to come up with something good. So this time I made up the description for him. He was killed by a mummy lord using the BoVD spell heartclutch (or something close). It’s the one where he tries to pull out your beating heart and show it to you before you die. Well the PC made the save but died from the damage anyway. Just wondering what you all think of my description of what transpired while he was in hell. Here it is... As Agryk is struck down by the mummy he is filled with a sense of uncontrollable fear as he is suddenly aware of things in death that he was not in life. He can remember his first experience with death and feared the feeling of utter hopelessness and despair that would occur when his soul was ripped from his body. HEHEHEH. Just comment please.
