Most monsters' damage was never very high, neither was their AC, and low-level monsters were never really obsolete. Also, while I'll agree that a lot of monsters needed magic weapons to hit, there were plenty that didn't even up to pretty high levels- giants, dragons, etc.</p><p></p><p>Anyway, sounds like we had different experiences.</p></blockquote><p></p>
