Desparetly need riddles and clues, please!

Due to various emergencies, I've found myself at work 15 hours since Monday...and completely without the time to come up with the clues for the live action game I'm running this weekend. I need en worlders now more than ever before!

The Setting: The PCs have stepped through a gateway and are now in faerie. They have been transported there to undo something that other travelling mortals did. Their main NPC contact will not know what that is. They will meet other NPCs in their adventuring that will give them clues to the thing they must set right in order to go back to the mortal world.

The Objective: There is a book of spells that keep the unseelie fey at bay. Mortal intruders took the book from its place and disrupted the magic. Fey cannot directly interact with the book, so mortals must undo what the others did. They have to find the book (it will be hidden) and return it to where it belongs.

I Need: Riddles or cryptic clues for old hermit NPCs to give out when questiopned by the PCs. The clues, if interpreted correctly, must give out the following information: there is a magic book. It is out of place. Find it, put it where it belongs. it belongs "here." "Here" could be some sort of generic feature, such as a cairn, a spring, a place where wind sings (windchimes.), etc. The more clues the better.

It's a lot to ask, but I'm hoping that there's a few folks out there with brains less fried than mine right now. :heh:

Normally I can give you about 100 good, old fashioned, rhyming riddles at the drop of a hat. Needing them tailored, however, means writing the from scratch. That would take me more time than you have, unfortunately. Sorry I can't help. If you just need a few riddles, let me know.

Thanks for the thoughts. I knew it would be a long shot for anyone to know anything that fit what I was looking for. My group loves puzzles,w hich is great, but I'm pretty shoddy at devising riddles, which isn't so great. Time for plan B: Winging It!

The book - "That which is and is not wood"
The spring it is supposed to be in - "The place where earth meets sky" (the reflection)
The magic that keeps the baddies at bay - "The flower which has been plucked"
"Earth, sky and wood bring life to the flower"

Some random ideas.
