I recently came across an image of the old Diablo2 RPG Intro Box while searching the net and it sent me off on a tangent for more info, “ I did own it at one time” it actually brought me to the WotC site and there I found the Quick Start pdf. I did have my issues with the PC port to PnP but there was something I liked about the quick start guide, “namely the use of D6's only” and its extreme simplicity. Now what I want to know is if anyone has taken that little system and expanded on it?
Example: Made a leveling system, magic system and explanation of the To-hit system and so on.
I would love to see a full on lite system using this, It captures the feel of D&D (w/o the use of the D20) and a gritty fast paced pulp feel.
