It's not generic adventure fare that's accessible to a mainstream audience. It's pretty tough to transfer a medium-specific work to another medium and not wind up with crap. This is particularly the case with Watchmen. If they're just going to make it a thriller about a mask killer and mass murder, then it's a pretty shallow translation (pretty much anyone I've ever known who's ever read Watchmen was able to figure those twists out way in advance). If it actually tries to go deeper, most folks won't get it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
