This! Though i voted d20 and d4.... :P And i actually surprised myself for doing so. Decades ago, before i ever lifted anything other then a d6 in anger, when i made platonic solids for fun.... if you asked me what my favorite solid was, i would have yelled dodecahedron and died fighting..... But something happened as the years went by. And maybe it was the tetra-shaped milk packages of my youth, or maybe the fabled 2d4 damage of the early gen hand and half swords..... but the d4 "grew" on me. Does it roll? No... but you can slide your palm underneath it as you drop it. Does it read as well as the others? Hells no! But reading its base is what makes it special! What about the d20? Well.... it's the warmth of your favorite least jinxed die. It's the shining 20 of the crit. It's the roundness and complete opposite of the d4, but it somehow feels like it completes the cycle. And that is why i love it! 1d10? Abhorrent! Non platonic solids have no right to exist! 1d6? Far too common but serviceable 1d8? A step in the right direction! 1d12? Like an old love.... it just won't go away.... 1d4 and 1d20? I've already said it above!
