Dice with mugs of ale on them!

Terrible name. Call it "Tavern Brawl" or "Barroom Brawl" or something recognizably cool. Punning off "infighting" is just ... well, the person who decided to go that way surely hasn't been involved in any barroom brawls.

All that said, I'd love a die with a beer mug on one side.

I would have preferred if this product -- whatever its name -- was a standalone miniatures game, though, with miniatures of bar patrons, a tavern battlemat and streamlined rules for beer-and-pretzels fun.

We wanted Tavern Brawl and that was the original name we went with but it would not clear the Trademark search

I'm glad things turned out the way they did. "Tavern Brawl" just seems like a boring name that could be tagged to any number of different products and doesn't excite me.

"Inn-Fighting" with the obvious and somewhat clever play on words intrigues me, is much more original, and gets me looking at the product.

Having little beer mugs replacing some pips on the dice, however, is what sold me!!!

The dice sound cool, I s'pose, but I'm really interested the game itself. This is the first I've heard of it, and Three Dragon Ante's one of my favorite card games ever (and I like to consider myself a connoisseur of such things), so I'm pretty excited at the prospect of a new game in the "line" if you can call it that... It's probably an irrational excitement, it's not like one single game really sets a track record of excellence, but I'm excited none the less.

Any details on the rules?

Agreed. Tavern Brawl sounds like someone cobbled a game together in 5 minutes and wants to make a quick buck off it, without bothering to use any imagination in the process.

my other favorite name was Ale & Fist. I imagined the logo would like like a pub sign with a foamy flagon and fist on it.
