I had a feeling that was what drove you off. Much to their/our detriment. The MML is little more than a ghost town these days anyway. Much more going on at the boards. Nope. That project is another ghost town. I dropped out of it early on for much the same reasons. Some of the things they came up with- a second Astral (in addition to the 3E Astral) that kept the properties of the old Astral... silly things like that. Then they formed a committee that was going to have the final word on conversion matters, though they were attempting to work as a consensus. They wanted to start in on things like Immortality and such even though there was no base "core" work done yet for people, and the moderator seemed, IMO, to be tending towards the tyrannical before they disappeared altogether, and nearly took the Vaults of Pandius with them (they were hosting them on the same 3E site). Fortunately Shawn took them elsewhere and divorced them from that project. There is more work being done towards a 3E conversion on the Mystara Message Boards at Wizards now than there ever was done in nearly 8(?) years of the Mystara 3E Project. Well, I'm still not personally sold on the Glantri boxed set, though I do like some of what was done in the Karameikos one. I think largely because the Glantri Gaz (though not as organized as, in retrospect, I think it should have been) was duplicated in so many places. I think if both Monte Cook and (mainly) Jeff Grubb hadn't had their hands tied in regards to what they could have done with those projects (something James Mishler has related via conversations he'd had with Jeff), I think both of those projects- and the Mystara 2E- would have been much better off than it was, rather than flopping. But I digress. Yeah- the 2E vs. OD&D Mystara Warz! were occasionally intense. (Not as bad as the Alphatia vs. Thyatis Warz! though.)
