Well, since Phil's talking about 'em now, I guess I'll chime in. :) This is my first foray into PDF publishing, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to do it through Ronin Arts. The funny thing is, I had these written well before I ever approached Phil. It wasn't my intention to fit in with his "Dozens" concept, it just happened to work out that way. Each entry in the Planar Factions series details a single organization, order, or secret society. Averaging between 4,000 and 8,000 words in length, each one gives a general overview of the organization, its history, its goals, its methods of operation and internal laws and customs, and--if and where appropriate--how it interacts with other organizations in the series. Each individual PDF also offers at least one (and usually more than one) new mechanical goodie. Some of the PDFs have new spells, some new feats, some new items, some new PrCs, one new monster, a few have fully statted NPCs, and many have some combination of the above. Each of them offers something, however, just a small crunchy topping to the flavorful creamy center. ;) Each is useable individually, though we certainly hope (and believe) you'll want them all. :) I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing them available, to seeing what sort of reception they receive, and to many further collaborations with Phil.
