We were playing 5E with some friends last month, one of them has some serious dexterity issues, and cannot retrieve dice after they have been rolled, therefore he uses an iPad to roll his dice. Just waiting on a capacitive touch screen to arrive and then to work out the rest of the display code...already have some of it done. Just wanted to share this as it has been an incredibly fun and nerdy project. Everything from electrical engineering, to mechanical design, and also some PCB design, and embedded systems coding. Thanks to all my friends that have pointed me in the right direction when I asked for help. The globe in the center is going to be a plasma ball, and the two green spheres will be Magic Eye tubes. Both the eyes, and the plasma ball will beat to the rhythm of the Imperial March upon a fumble or a crit. Artwork is displayed as place holders and ideas for laser etched art later. I look forward to your input.
