Difference between Darwin's World 2 and 2.5

I have been gearing up for a Darwin's World game, and I have been seeing references to Darwin's World 2.5? What exactly is that? Is the Modern^20 conversion for Darwin's World? Or is it just an updated D20 Modern version?

It's d20 Modern still. The short answer is that not much has changed. The hardcover version of the book is version 2.4, so this is version 2.5 it's definitely not a 3.5 edition D&D situation.

There's some minor tweaks and fixes and that's pretty much it.
