I could take requests... and then I'd have to accept submissions. Anyone have any dinosaurs lying around? But here's what's next. A nice obscure one. Masiakasaurus Medium-sized Animal Hit Dice: 3d8+3 (16 hp) Initiative: +7 Speed: 40ft, swim 30ft AC: 16 (+3 Dex, +3 natural) Base Attack/Grapple: +2/+8 Attacks: Bite +5 melee Damage: Bite 1d6+3 Face/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Improved grab, worry Special Qualities: Darkvision 60ft, lowlight vision, scent Saves: Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +3 Abilities: Str 14, Dex 16, Con 12, Int 2, Wis 14, Cha 7 Skills: Balance +8, Hide +8, Jump +7, Listen +3, Move Silently +8, Spot +3, Swim +10 Feats: Improved Initiative, Weapon Finesse Climate/Terrain: Warm costal, forest and marsh Organization: Solitary CR: 2 Treasure: None Alignment: Always neutral Advancement: 4-6 HD (Medium-sized), 5-9 HD (Large) Masiakasaurus are shy carnivorous dinosaurs that feed primarily on fish. A masiakasaurus resembles every other small carnivorous dinosaur except in dentition; its teeth are large, irregular and jut forward from the jaw, giving a snaggletoothed appearance. They live predominantly on the shores of lakes and on the banks of rivers, where they fish for food. They are easily startled, and flee from most confrontations. As such, it’s bizarre, wailing cries are heard far more often then masiakasaurus are seen. Combat Most masiakasaurus fight nothing larger than the fish they prey on, but if cornered, they will respond with a nasty, jagged bite, clamping to an opponent’s flesh and shaking. Improved Grab (Ex): Whenever a masiakasaurus hits an opponent of Medium-size or smaller with its bite attack, it can make a grapple check without receiving an attack of opportunity (grapple bonus +8, including a +4 racial bonus). It can choose to conduct the grapple normally, or to only hold its opponent in its jaws (-20 penalty to grapple checks, but the masiakasaurus is not considered grappled). A grappled creature takes worry damage every round. Scent (Ex): A masiakasaurus can detect approaching creatures, sniff out hidden foes and track by scent. Worry (Ex): Whenever a masiakasaurus gets a hold with its bite attack, it shakes the foe violently, mirroring its fishing behavior. Grabbed creatures take 2d6+3 points of damage every round the hold is maintained. Skills: Due to its flexible tail and sure feet, a masiakasaurus receives a +4 racial bonus to Balance and Jump checks. It also gains a +4 bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks made in its native habitat (costal, forest and marsh). Demiurge out.
