625$ a month, NOT including city/state/federal taxes that are loaded onto those bills..

This is one giant rip off. There is no way you could UTALIZE all that they are offering for it to be worth it.

Lets say you had a normal 50/mo package with the majority of channels (HBO but no Showtime or Cmax), AND purchased two Pay Per View movies a day (they are 5/each so 10/day for 30 days is...), that would give you roughly a 350/bill. Add in any special PVP events for sports and you MIGHT push 450 or 500 if you get one a few times a month.

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE RIP OFF!

DirecTV is counting on the majority of 20-45 somthethings (and married men in midlife crisis) who need to have the "Best of everything" to buy into this retarded deal.

Studying this more closley.....with up to 10 DVR receiver this also looks like it may be targetted at buisnesses. Hotels with a few luxury rooms, or Executive Office buildings where lots of execs like to have full tv options.

Its definatly gonna be targetted at celebreties that have mansions with 10+ rooms.

Actually, it may have something to do with lawsuits for folks who steal the satellite signal. Don't ask me to go into specifics as I have zero idea if that's fact or I just read it somewhere and messed up the details. :p

In all, I just thought it was kinda funny and wanted to share. Looked fake first time I peaked at it.

It is the mansion package. Lets face it, there are people in this world who have monthly expenses of 30K, 30k a month, not a year. A Rolls Royce Phantom is a $300,000 car with umbrellas built into the doors.

This package is not meant for mere mortals, but for that 1% of people that own 90% of the wealth.

Makes sence. Now they try and use the threat of "grand theft of services" or whatever BS they want.

The *&%*$ ram those frequencies into our brains and then want to sue when someone figures out how to use their brain melting waves without their equipment. :]
