If the DM (particularly those who try to run a more narrative style game) were to think it was appropriate in the situation, they might allow it and then come up with rules they think works for them for that situation. As the campaign doesn't use the optional rules from the DMG however, you should not expect every DM to allow it or even that the way they handle it to always be the same. Therefore making a character designed around disarming is probably not a great idea.</p></blockquote><p></p>
