Whuzzat? I have always thought the discworld trolls were a fascinating fantasy concept, humor aside. Thank you for your comments. ______________________________ And, really, it should be slam attacks. People who get on the bad side of Detritus don't end up all cut up, they end up two inches high. _______________________________ Detritus does indeed punch his opponents, but the earlier books (color of magic in particular) depict the trolls as having claws and fangs. The 15 foot tall older troll that menaces the heroes claws the flank of Rincewinds horse. Biting opponents is mentioned in more detail in the color of magic. ________________________________ Yay!!! What about turning to stone In the sun? ________________________________ Temperature vulnerability (Ex): Trolls take 1 point of temporary Intelligence and Wisdom damage for every hour they are exposed to warm sunlight or heat (room temperature for humans), turning into an immobile boulder when their Int reaches 0. As you can see, warm sunlight can quickly cause trolls to curl into a boulder. They can remain active if the temperature isnt too high. Given these problems, it is no wonder they are nocturnal. One change I plan on making is giving the trolls a Burrow rate on 20ft. In the books, trolls can move through the earth fairly quickly when they want to.
