I have to say that it is a very interesting product that looks at dimensional travel in a different way from pretty much any other source I have read.
The first book covers world creation (mostly historical and alternate history), getting there, number of people travelling (from the individual to a whole planet) and PCs changing history.
The second covers items that either the traveller create or bring along. Think of it as a survival manual and catalog for the displaced.
I find it makes a great companion for the world creation rules in Second World Sourcebook and Alternity's Tangents.
