I think 10+ is high level and for much of that I don't find the wizard overpowered, at the very end of high level play 17-20 I do.  I can't say anything about 20+ because I don't play it in 3e and never have had a desire to. So these level 40 comparisons I'll just stay out of if that is what is considered "high level.."    I've seen plenty of hypothetical wizards with cool tricks that seem to make them overpowered, but it never seems to work out that way in game play for us.</blockquote>
