Okay, diagonal movement now costs 1 point. However, does this apply to measuring distances for abilities/powers?

For example, the Hunter may designate the nearest foe as its quarry. If he has a foe 5 squares away diagonally is he considered at the same distance as a foe 5 squares away horizontally?

Oh, I found my answer in another thread. Sorry for the spam.

Quote: Everything is cubic. If it's a burst 1 ability it affects the main square and all the squares around it. If its a burst 2 ability, it affects the main square and two squares around it. Etc... Not sure how lightning bolts would work, but the DM did say that cones and lines were a thing of the past.
