I didn't see a point in that 3-minute chase where any of the bad guys really had a shot at him. The guy was fast, and bouncing all over the damn place.

Actually, I think the bad guys were given some plot freebies for even keeping up with him through the building levels. I mean, they'd see him drop down (or climb up) a few floors, and then seemingly teleport to him.

As fast and skilled as that guy was, he should have gotten away in 30 seconds, not 3 minutes.

I agree which is why my response to that scene is the class "Why don't ya shoot him all ready?" I mean seriously, don't show a 3 minute chase in the first half of the movie if the guy is just going to easily escape.

Have you seen the movie? Who said anything about him escaping?

The plot is more complex than that. And pretty good actually.

Only bits and pieces, but I never said he escapes into the sun set and lives happily ever after as a result of that particular chase.
