Divine Feats Question

I find that most Divine Feats don't specify that they require a standard action - they just say to expend a turn undead attempt.
IIRC, Complete Divine (which has the largest number of divine feats) was released before swift/immediate actions were added to the game. Therefore there was no need to specifiy the required action unless a full action was required. The ones in PHB2 all state the required action (again, IIRC).

On a side note (again becuase I am at work) does a Paladin's Smite ability require a standard action (and therefore you can only make one attack that round) or can you use it as part of a full attack action?
I've seen several opinions on that. IMO, Smite is not an action in itself (similar to instant touch spells). Therefore you could use it while full-attacking but would have to expend one Smite attempt per attack (assuming you'd want to Smite with every attack).
