Er, my bad... I think I may have left it a bit unclear. The above are feats that characters can take, not specific locations. The details of the Shrine/Chapel/Temple are up to the player and the DM. My reasoning for these feats is to provide a mechanical advantage for building a place of worship without having it be a 'freebie' class feature for classes that tend to be a bit higher on the power level already. I tried to have the abilities build off of each other, and the Action point mechanic seemed to be the best method to go with. For an example, umm.. Robert, the Cleric of the God of Travel gains 3rd level and picks up Shrine at the same level he becomes capable of casting Consecrate. He decides to invest in a small roadside shelter, spending 3 days in a ritual along with a generous helping of silver dust {15 pounds all told...material component for the spell}. The results are a permanent Consecrate effect on the shelter. A year from the time he builds he, he returns on a pilgramage and gains XP as if defeating an EL1 encounter. - A couple years go by and gradually he gains in levels, picks up Leaderhip at th level and then decides to expand the Shrine into a Chapel at 9th level. He returns to the shelter and remodels it into a modest Chapel with rooms for travelors to rest in. He spends another 3 days and 15 pounds of Silver. - More years pass and Bob does quite well. He advances to 12th level with his Cohort adventuring at his side. One fall, he has a vision of he Chapel falling in flames as pagan's dance about the funeral pyre. He rushes back to the site of the Chapel and drives the pagan followers out, then rebuilds. This time he rebuilds larger, using stone to form a Temple. He leaves his Cohort to maintain and protect the Temple until it is time to retire from adventuring. :)
