Isn't it a fort/will version of evasion and not standard evasion though. Books no where to be found so I'm going from very long term memory, cause I just loved that splat book..

That's mettle, the templar's first level ability.
 

ah, gracias.

i like evasion better anyway even on low reflex clerics, fort and wills so rarely matter in the save and still take damage category that I guess mettle seems kinda lame too me. But hey it's 1st level prestige class ability what should I expect.

Also the fact that they felt they had to lump will/fort saves together. It's a neat ability, and would be nice to have when needed.

Templar's get mettle and weapon specialization at first level. Evasion is better, no doubt about it.
