Divine Vengeance Feat

It still sucks big time...

  • IF you are hasted...
  • IF you are standing next to the enemy...
  • IF your enemy is an Undead...
Then you can still squeeze only 1 (one) full round action worth of attacks against the undead. NOT two. Because the effect lasts "until the end of your next action".

Whoopdedoo.

This feat should have either:
  • lasted Charisma modifier rounds
  • done Charisma modifier * d6 damage until the end of your actions next ROUND, or until you hit, which ever happens first.
    [/list=a]
This way, it would prioritize Paladins with high Charisma stats. The feat is very limited in that it only affects undead. So it should have a bit more thunder.

Actually, yeah, I do -- 1 full attack action the round you activate it while hasted, and then another full attack action the next round, before it expires (would you also be able to get an attack in from the partial action before it expired? you could certianly just spend the partial action that round reactivating it).

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see why what I just said wouldn't work...

OK. I got ya'. I though ya' meant two full attack actions in one round. Phew! That was close. :)

On the other hand, a paladin, with a crappy turning ability (considering he is always two levels behind) can put this feat to much better use as the added damage is much more useful.

Actually Paladins often turn as well as, or better than, ,an equal level cleric. They are 2 levels behind but paladins typically have a higher charisma than clerics. As they gain levels Paladins keep pumping Charisma while clerics pump up Wisdom.

IMO the feat is practically useless unless all you ever fight are undead. Waste a round to get some minor damage on a very specific creature type? Id rather cast a buffing spell, a Bulld Strength would probably be just as good without wasting a precious feat because it works against any enemy.
