I have favorable impressions of publishers (e.g., Malhavoc, GR, SJG, etc.) mainly because they pick good authors to write their books; if they picked some hack to write their next book, the publisher's name&nbsp; on the book wouldn't magically improve the writing (the publisher's editors and developers/re-writers might, but there's only so much editing can do).</blockquote>
