So I was thinking the other day, now that I've graduated from post secondary school with a B. Sc. that I should probably get a job. I'm working right now but I don't love the job and it's not something that I want to do as a career. Upon asking my friends for their advice, the majority expressed the same view. Do what you love. I like science but I'm not sure I love it. I thought and thought about it and aside from sports (I will never be a professional athlete), I like reading and playing d&d. I do some freelance writing here and there but nothing stable. The answer became clear to me. I should be a professional DM. Sure, playing is fun too but no one is going to pay me to play in their campaign (If anyone IS going to pay me, please feel free to contact me). There's got to be a market out there for professional Dungeon Masters right? I have extensive knowledge of 3rd edition and I've memorized the rules to the letter. I am a herald level GM by the RPGA and I've run many adventures with diverse groups of people. I can be as serious or as laid back as you want and I guarantee an enjoyable gaming experience. To those guys out there who want to play but don't have an experienced DM or those who would rather play than DM for your group, I'm your man. I charge a flat rate and provide my own transportation. I can run custom campaigns or DM your modules or even adapt to your ongoing storylines. I write adventures and plan sessions on my own time and charge only for session time. Want a couple hours a week of hassle free game time? Want someone else to take care of all the nitty gritty details so you can really enjoy the game? Send me a message. Disclaimer: This post is meant in part to be humourous. Feel free to comment :) p.s. If you actually want to hire my services, I am available most nights at an affordable rate.
