Yeah, awesome comic. He did a podcast on Fear the Boot a little while ago too. His campaign blog is a great too. You would never think that this was the first campaign he's run.

I like the suggestions from people that he do the Star Wars game that the players who ran the hobbits defected to, although I'm not sure how different it really could be and if it makes more sense to just let it end in a good place.

While the comic is great - I think the wisdom of Shamus is much more important (check out my sig). As a DM, he has some very invaluable looks at life through the player's eyes as reflected by those of the DM.

Even after DMing for 20+ years, I still take something away from it.
