Way to go fusangite! That was an excellent assessment of the information that has been posted (though as Rel correctly states, that information may or may not be the whole "ball of wax"). I am glad that you put it all in one post so that the info that has been presented is where everyone can see it at once. I was thinking about doing that, but had not gotten around to it by the time you did it (and yours was undoubtedly more well presented than mine would have been). What you posted was the Bob I was thinking of when I made my recommendation to ask Bob to take a break from the game (indelicately called "booting" him). As stated by SweeneyTodd (nice handle BTW), the worst option is for ForceUser to continue the status quo. I have been there more than once with players who could have been blood brothers of Bob's (from the behavior described). I have tried several different solutions and the most effective by far was taking a few weeks off, assessing the situation and restarting without the offending player(s), after telling them that this campaign would just not suit their playing style. I also contacted all of the players I was re-inviting and explained the situation to them. It worked much better than catering to the player's attitudes or the other methods I have tried. As a DM, don't let anyone tell you that it isn't your game too. You are not there solely to entertain your players. Everyone at the table needs to be playing the game they want and that includes the DM. Not every game is for everyone and if a the game a player wants is not the game you want to DM (and the majority of players want to participate in) then don't feel bad about telling a problem player that his/her participation in the game just would not be for the best. Two of my favorite players from my last game are not in my current game because I felt that they just didn't have the maturity (they are 19 & 20 and the rest of the current group is 30-36). We are still friends. DM
