As far as I can tell, the DM has not responded to this thread to explain/defend his position, nor tried to say anything bad about the OP on these forums. The only position we have heard is from the original poster, who is complaining only in his own behalf. He has not said whether the fighter in the group got all bent out of shape for being "gimped" by having weapons and armor taken away, or the effects on any of the other players. He only said they all started out without any equipment. Seemingly all without their tools of the trade.If the OP started off bitterly complaining during the game, I can even forgive the DM for being human and reacting in kind, if that is what happened.The fault I CAN place on the DM is not going over the house rules ahead of time. (Ravenloft changes excluded if the characters don't start there) I don't think that alone makes a person a Bad DM, just one that could have been better.Publicly ranting about a game and the DM, destroying any chance of getting back into the game or having any good come out of it other than venting, is not the sign of a Good Player or a Good Loser.</blockquote>
