Our core group of friends that have been playing for (cut to not age myself) years are now scattered around the country. Once a year we actually take a D&D Vacation and go somewhere for a week and just hang out and run a mini-campaign of D&D for the whole week. Anyway, as the primary DM, I have t spend months preparing enough material for a game of this style because of the pain the 3E system puts you through for prep time.The new tools and system seem like they will be much more "on the fly" friendly, and this alone is probably The Biggest selling point for 4E for me.
