D&D 5E DM's Guild Reading Recommendation?

Bill Zebub

“It’s probably Matt Mercer’s fault.”
I have some time this weekend (family away for a few days) and since I don't have any actual games scheduled, would like to just read some interesting new game supplement.

Anybody have any favorites from DM's Guild? Setting? Monsters/NPCs? Adventures? Magic items? Game aids?

I think the only thing I don't want is new player options: classes, subclasses, spells, feats, etc. DM tools only.

Thay - Land of the Red Wizards is the most recent big setting project among Community Creations. Ed Greenwood, creator of Forgotten Realms, led this project.

I've been working on updating the lore of the gods and their afterlife realms for the 5e era on my channel. I'm working on an Asmodeus pamphlet right now as the 13th in a series, and hopefully will be done within the next few days (trying to compile/update the lore and fill gaps while preserving the intent of past authors, which is a daunting task to say the least). I've also got a free download demo for a Realmspace update project I've been working on and off with for a while - a number of tables may already be using it as a foundation for spelljamming campaigns; there's a mechanics playtest document included with the lore-heavy demo, exploring design for helms and flying ship maneuvering.

Here's a link to my channel.

I'll go ahead and mention Mistfactor Press's 5E adaptation of classic Ravenloft:

A friend of mine picked up the first volume in print, and while he had one or two gripes about small errors (e.g. misspelling Akriel Lukas's first name as "Ariel"), overall he was quite pleased with the book, which (together with the second volume) adapts every darklord ever published in an old Ravenloft product to 5E (including the novels). It's a pretty impressive undertaking!
